Rebecca grew up in a world of flowers. Her mother was an avid gardener and her grandmother an amazing china painter. Both influences led her to study at the Cleveland Institute of Art and to move to New York City to pursue a career in textile design.
Now, Rebecca paints with her camera, finding the perfect bloom in gardens throughout the world, or trolling New York City’s flower district for the freshest flowers to photograph in her studio. Her intimate portraits of nature allow her to look at the world in which we live, find a place of peace and see the universal beauty and fragility we all share. Her work can be found in private and corporate collections throughout the country.
