Karen Stolper

After graduating from Parsons School of Design in New York City, Karen Stolper jumped right into the world of freelance illustration. Focused on her editorial work, Karen illustrated for magazines and newspapers throughout the country. This work opened the door for her to use her pastels and paints to illustrate book covers and children’s books. “Creating beautiful images to make stories come alive was an incredible challenge.” Following her passion for drawing and painting Karen has been inspired by a whole new world of colors, textures, and subjects. Karen’s most recent work can be seen on rubber stamps, journal covers, and greeting cards.
