An Melis

An Melis is an independent Belgian artist. She studied art education in Belgium for 4 years and has worked for several domestic and foreign publishers and companies for more than 30 years. She is specialised in fine watercolour illustrations and artwork built with advanced digital techniques so that they are widely applicable.

Several series of her picture books were  also published with great success. They were translated into more than 10 languages and found their way into the hearts of many little readers worldwide. Since 2017, An has been designing unique decorative objects for the holidays, tableware, garden sculptures and other seasonal collections. Her greatest passion is Christmas illustration which led to the creation of her own Belgian publishing house in 2013. An is always looking for new challenges and inspiration so she can make many people happy with her creations.
