Sandra Kuck

When Sandra Kuck burst onto the scene in the mid-1980s, romanticism was just beginning to attract an audience. Today, romanticism enjoys unprecedented popularity and so does the artist who helped bring it into the spotlight. Sandra paints the world the way we would like it to be: a beautiful place, where mothers are eternally young and pretty, where children are sweet and innocent and where there is time to read a book, enjoy a leisurely walk or simply daydream a sunny afternoon away.

Sandra has responded to the overwhelming demand of her fans by extending her range of products. In 1984, Sandra created a company that distributed her fine art prints and giclée to galleries throughout the US. Sandra has designed collections of figurines for Lenox and Bradford Exchange. Her works have also been compiled into gift books distributed by Harvest House Publishing, selling over one-million copies. Additionally, for the past 20 years, Downey Gallery has represented her work in Santa Fe, and in Canada, and she exhibits at the International Gallery in Vancouver.

In the spring of 2014, Sandra was one of twenty-one artists inducted into the Portrait Society of America. Her portrait, “Yvonne”, was selected as a finalist among 1700 entries. Her painterly looks is timely and elegant.
